Abstract
1452233 Slider for a concealed sliding clasp fastener YOSHIDA KOGYO KK 16 Sept 1974 [29 Sept 1973] 40216/74 Heading E2S A slider 22 for a concealed sliding clasp fastener wherein the slider is of the type including a body 23 having a flared front end 24 and a contracted rear end 25, and a separator 29 mounted centrally at the flared front end of the body is characterised in that a lug 30 extends rearwardly from the separator 29 and is slotted substantially throughout the entire length thereof at 32, the lug 30 including a substantial portion projecting rearwardly of the contracted rear end 25 of the body, and a pull tab 34 pivotally coupled to the lug so as to be displaceable therealong. As shown in Fig. 4, the lug 30 is secured to the separator 29 by a pin 31, a ring 33 connected to the pull tab 34, being slidingly received in the slot 32. In a modification, Fig. 7, the lug 30a is formed of a filament of rigid material and has its ends 35 inserted in a bore 36 in the separator 29. In a further modification, Fig. 8 not shown, the slotted lug 30b also projects beyond the flared front end 24 of the slider so that the pull tab (34) can be turned over this front end 24 to be invisible when the fastener is closed.
