1451606 Hand-supported rotary mops R G DIXON & CO Ltd 5 Oct 1973 [3 Nov 1972] 50796/72 Heading A4K A device for cleaning dishes, cookers, &c, has a hand-held rotating mop 1 driven from a motor 7 via a reducing gear 8 and a flexible drive 3, the mop being driven at speeds less than 600 r.p.m., the motor 7 and gear 8 being mounted in a housing 9 which is spring-loaded and pivoted at 10 within a casing 5 which can store the drive 3. The housing 9 is biased to a position in which the drive is stored by springs 11 and 12. Mop 1 is of abrasiveimpregnated nylon.
