Abstract

1451169 Loudspeakers WIGO GOTTLOB WIDMANN & SOHNE GmbH 8 April 1974 [30 Aug 1973] 15376/74 Headings H4J and H4X An omnidirectional loudspeaker includes a two-part spherical housing 9, 10 containing in the junction plane a baffle 8 forming with the solid walled part 10 an airtight enclosure for a low frequency radiator 1 and supporting on a common axis with the radiator 1 different frequency range radiators 3, 6 and intermediate sound dispersion members 2, 4, 5. The housing part 9 is of sound permeable material which may extend over the other part 10 and the loudspeaker may be free-standing or suspended by a mounting 7.
