Abstract

1450621 Planetary coolers for rotary kilns KLOCKNER-HUMBOLDT-DEUTZ AG 2 Jan 1974 [14 Feb 1973] 00001/74 Heading F4B In a planetary cooler tube on a rotary kiln, said cooler tube having a refractory lining 2 and lifters 4, each lifter has a base fixing member 5 disposed in and secured on a recess 3 in the refractory extending to the shell 1, said recess being lined with a metal casing 6. The member 5 is doubled dished at 7 and 8 with a flange 12 covering the recess and a fixing bolt 10 extending through the central web. The lifter has front and rear webs 13 and 14 and a strengthening rib 15 in the rear side.
