Abstract

1450209 Developing apparatus AUSTRALIA COMMONWEALTH OF 18 Dec 1973 [18 Dec 1972] 58678/73 Heading G2H As shown in Fig. 2, liquid developer is pumped from a duct 22 terminating in a planar nozzle 23 to direct the developer through a transversely planar Venturi developer zone 20 formed between a latent electrostatic image bearing surface of a copy sheet 38 and a transversely planar convex plate 21. In another embodiment, Fig. 3, air is blown from the duct 44 through the nozzle 45, and draws liquid developer from the duct 46 by its Venturi effect over the opening 47.
