Abstract

1448312 Spray carburetters FORD MOTOR CO Ltd 27 Sept 1974 [4 Oct 1973] 42000/74 Heading F1B The suction in the chamber 30 of the servo 26 controlling the position of the Venturi defining wall 12 and the fuel metering needle 16 is controllable by a valve 54 regulating an air inlet 52. The valve 54 is mounted on a bi-metallic lever 56 subject to the heat from a heater 60. The heater is a positive temperature coefficient semiconductor connected to an alternator. The valve 54 provides for a richer mixture under starting and low ambient temperature conditions.
