Abstract

1447441 Mowers H C HEATH 2 Jan 1974 00030/74 Heading AIF Each knife 6, 6' of a reciprocating mower is driven by cans 3 engaging slotted members 4 which are connected to the knives by brackets 13. The lower knife 6' rests in a track whilst the upper knife is retained by member 9 which is detachably secured to the knife frame 8 by key-hole slots 10 engaging bolts 11 and is held in position by retaining springs 12. The drive 2 for the cans is aligned with support pivots 14 for the mower whereby it can be moved through 180‹.
