1446121 Floor cleaning machines STERLING-WINTHROP GROUP Ltd 5 May 1975 [6 May 1974] 19918/74 Heading A4F A floor maintenance machine comprises at least one brush 4, 5 driven for the purpose of wet scrubbing or polishing a floor 6, a protective shroud 7 surrounding the brush and a demountable flexible skirt 10 attached to and depending from the shroud to touch the floor. The skirt 10 may be adjusted to vary its depth below the shroud and may be attached by interlocking fastening tapes 9, 11 the tape 11 being fixed to the skirt 10 and the tape 9 to a resilient bumper 8.
