Abstract

1445253 Drawer slides R STEIN 4 Sept 1974 [23 Oct 1973] 38706/74 Heading A4B A progressive opening slide for a drawer &c. comprises an intermediate channel 15 and exterior channels 13, 14, anti-friction rollers 39, 40 and (47) mounted between channels 15, 13 and channels 15, 14 and permitting limited transverse relative movements of these channels, and a resiliently compressed member 54 mounted with play on a shaft 49 an intermediate channel 15 and having external portions such as ribs 57, 58, that frictionally drivingly engage the exterior channels 14, 13. The rollers 39, 40 are confined by tabs (41 and 42) or channels 13, 15. The drawer can be completely removed after release of a latch comprising a pivoted gravity pawl (59) and a locking cam (63).
