Abstract

1,075,618. Drawer and shell boxes. K. SHIMADA and K. SHIMADA. Dec. 9, 1964. No. 50202/64. Heading B8P. A drawer and shell type packet having an operable lid on the drawer has means for opening the lid when the drawer is moved relative to the shell. In one form the slide has a strip 13 secured to the lid 9 and lying between the drawer and the inside of the shell. On moving the drawer partly out of the shell a tab 4 on the shell engages a recess 15 in the strip 13 thereby opening the lid. A further tab a is provided to prevent the drawer being pushed too far out of the shell. A rim c on the two ends of the drawer engages the top of the shell when the drawer is closed. In a second embodiment, Figs. 1, 2 (not shown), the tab a is dispensed with.
