Abstract

1444842 Junction boxes SIMPLEX-POWER CENTRE Ltd 24 Dec 1974 [12 Jan 1974] 01539/74 Heading H2E A box for effecting physical separation between electrical cables comprise sinner and outer compartments 10, 11, the box having cable entry apertures such as 16 connecting the outer compartment to the outside of the box and ducts such as 14b, 14d, 14f connecting the inner compartment to the outside of the box. The box is normally supplied with a removable cover (not shown) and the compartments may be colour coded to correspond to a colour code on the cables to be installed. In a further embodiment (Fig. 2, not shown) the box has a third, intermediate compartment to enable three sets of cables to be separated.
