In a metal wall box for electrical components, a cover is attached by means of screwthreaded parts 12 and 18, one of the parts being mounted on a flexible strip 15 so that the cover may be aligned relative to the wall before the securing screws are tightened. A slot 13 is provided in the fixed part 12 in which the screws move. In another embodiment, the flexible strip is replaced by a strip of hairpin form, Figs. 4-6 (not shown).
