The electric heater 16 is of uprightly disposed plate form and comprises a plastics plate heatable by a heating coil. A drip channel 17 beneath the electric heater is in spaced-apart relationship from the heater. A vertically inclined guide plate 20 for the defrost water is disposed at the lap of the heater 16.
