Abstract

1444382 Sliding door hangers HILLALDAM COBURN Ltd 29 Oct 1974 [21 Nov 1973] 53933/73 Heading E1J A hanger for a sliding door comprises a screw-threaded member 107 extending upwardly from a bracket 104 on the top of the door, a horizontal axis wheel 113 mounted on a web of a U-shaped bracket 109, the screw-threaded member 107 extending non- rotatably through a lower limb of bracket 109 and engaging a nut 115. The member 107 also passes through a retaining member 118 which has a portion 120 preventing derailment. Nut 115 has a lower cylindrical spacer portion 116 and an upper hexagonal portion 117 joined by a neck extending through a slot in the upper flange. The door height is adjusted by nut 115 and then locked by nut 122.
