Abstract

1443622 Pipe cutting and chamfering tools; wheel cutter tools GUNNAR BASTIANSEN 22 April 1974 17453/74 Headings B3T and B3W A pipe cutting and chamfering device comprises a rotary cutting disc 5 adjustably mounted on a curved frame 1 having support rollers 2 and a chamfering tool 18 adjustably secured to the cutting disc carrier 19 and situated downstream in the direction of cutting of the cutting disc. A feed screw 6 is provided to feed the disc and chamfering tool simultaneously into the pipe, the position of the disc and chamfering tool having been preset relative to one another. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 11 the chamfering tool 18 is mounted on a pivotable bracket 28 attached to the disc carrier 24.
