Abstract

1441907 Tool mounting IMPEX-ESSEN VERTRIEB VON WERKZEUGEN GmbH 4 Feb 1975 [8 Feb 1974] 4744/75 Heading B4C The shank of a tool for an electrically, pneumatically or hydraulically driven percussive tool has at its inner end a three rib profile 7<SP>III</SP> with concave longitudinal grooves 7<SP>V</SP> which extend substantially radially at the joins with the tangential surfaces of the ribs, the tool holder being profiled in a corresponding manner. A spring loaded plastics cap 8 is provided to retain the tool axially and is rotatable partially in order to insert or remove the tool. A shank cleaning insert 10 is provided in the cap in order to clean the shank as it moves axially.
