Abstract

1437443 Pressure gauges HITACHI Ltd 28 Aug 1973 [30 Aug 1972] 40489/73 Heading G1L A fluid-pressure diaphragm for use with corrosive fluids has the pressure receiving sides 50 (51) and associated components 60 (61) and 12 (16) made of corrosion resistant material such as tantalum or silver, and the other pressure transmitting side and associated components made of a low cost material such as beryllium copper, iron or stainless steel joined by brazing 97 (98) to the flanges 13(17). The diaphragm may be of a laminated structure having a silver layer 50 (51) on one side and a layer of beryllium copper layer 50' (51'), Fig. 7, on the other.
