Abstract

The differential manometer has a box (12) and a membrane (16) on either side of which the two pressures, whose difference is to be measured, act. The displacement of the membrane is transmitted to the exterior of the box via one or more rods (46), deformed into a bending mode under the action of the membrane deformation. These rods pass through the box in an airtight manner. Sealing rings may be used where the rods transmit the displacement of the membrane to the box. These rings may be O-rings. The rods may be integral with the membrane which may comprise two discs joined together, the rods being kept between them.
