Abstract

The hydraulic press has a pressure cell with a sack-like diaphragm working on a press to form various panels on different moulds. The diaphragm aperture is surrounded by tubing held in place by two fixing elements. The diaphragm is shaped such that, in a free state, the inner radius (R) in a part (27) nearest the tubing is considerably larger than the radius (r) in an outer part (20a) of the inner fixing element (20).
