Abstract

143,714. Fox, C. J., and Morris, C. C. B. May 22, 1919. Fusible sprinkler heads. -The fusible strut consists of a main plate C standing upon the valve H, an L-shaped lever D engaging the adjusting- screw F, and a flat backplate E soldered to the lever D, its lower end engaging a hook-shaped projection C<1> on the main plate C. The solder is protected by paraffin wax &c. W inserted in a channel surrounding the soldered joint. Projections B' on the yoke B in front of the edges of the plate C prevent the strut from turning round when set.
