Abstract

1436837 Finishing fabrics BENZAQUEN SA INDUSTRIAL COMERCIAL INMOBILIARIA Y FINANCIERA 6 May 1973 [12 June 1972 8 Aug 1972 10 Aug 1972 11 Sept 1972] 26510/75 Divided out of 1420473 Headings D1K and D1S The subject matter is identical to that disclosed in Specification 1420473 but the claims relate to a textile fabric woven from threads having a low number count, e.g. 6-16, at least the warp and/or weft threads having a high torsion, at least the warp and/or weft threads being dyed a predetermined base colour and fibrils raised from the threads on the surface of at least one side of the fabric to provide a uniformly plushed surface and a change in tonality of the surface from the predetermined base colour. As shown in Fig. 4, a cotton fabric, twill 3 x 1, comprises superficially dyed warp threads h and undyed weft threads i. Fibrils 33, 34 have been raised by the apparatus described in Specification 1420473.
