Abstract

1436380 Cable ducts H WIDELL and J WIDELL 22 Dec 1973 59720/73 Heading H2C A wiring conduit comprises a body 1 a U- shaped wall bracket 2, with lips or flanges which engage in recesses 9, 10 in the body, the free ends of the U-shaped member being resiliently deformable, and a cover 6 or 7 which may carry telephone connections, electrical sockets &c. The conduit may further comprise a trim moulding 3. The wall-bracket 2, and moulding 3 may be fitted with U-shaped cable ducts 4 the webs of which may be provided with a decorative finish and may extend either side of the ducts to reduce the visible gaps between adjacent ducts. Suuport shelves 5 may each be formed with a trough-like depression or downwardly projecting hook-like portion which engages the free end of the associated projections 15, 16.
