1433857 Stainless steel NIPPON STEEL CORP 6 May 1974 [4 May 1973] 19778/74 Heading C7A A stainless steel of composition:- The steel may additionally contain 0À1 to 4% Cu, 0À1 to 2% Nb and 0À001 to 0À2% Boron and may be prepared using a converter or electric furnace and vacuum degassing. The calcium and aluminium constituents may be added direct to the melt after slag removal or may be added to the molten steel contained in the ingot mould.
