Abstract

1432510 Material-handling implement-cutting edge assembly CATERPILLAR TRACTOR CO 11 June 1974 [15 June 1973] 25902/ 74 Heading E1F A cutting edge assembly mountable on the leading edge of a material-handling implement comprises a base plate 12 securable to said edge and having openings 22 located rearwardly of its leading edge, a cutting member 17 having a slot 13 facing away from its cutting edge 18 for receiving the leading edge of the base plate and rearwardly extending tangs 23 for entering the openings 22 when the member 17 is mounted on the base plate 12, and wedge means 24 for urging the cutting member and the base plate into a locked together relationship. Digger teeth may be mounted on the cutting member 17.
