Abstract

1431000 Stud fastenings BERGO Ltd 11 Sept 1974 [12 June 1973] 27848/73 Heading E2B [Also in Divisions G4 and G6] A road sign is formed of a number of extruded metal planks 1 fixed to a support frame 5. a part of some planks being replaced by prismatic bars 9, preferably of triangular section, which are selectively rotatable about horizontal axes to display variable information on their different faces. Each plank has rearwardly extending lugs 2, 3, 4 of which lug 3 is of C-section to receive the head of a bolt 7 passing through frame 5. Planks 1 are coupled for rotation by belts or chains 10, 11 controlled via cable 17 by a lever in box 16. Alternatively, an electric motor drive is provided.
