Abstract

1429214 Sheet ordering apparatus HWM HERMANN WEH MASCHINENPABRIK KG 6 July 1973 [6 July 1972] 32294/73 Heading B8R Sheets B are delivered to alternative receiving locations 10 and 10a by a plurality of suction members 7 mounted for movement in an endless path, the connection of the members to a suction source and the venting of the members for gripping and releasing a sheet respectively being controlled from electrically conducting rails 15, 16, 16a and 17. The connection to suction and venting of the members is controlled by solenoid valves which are switched to suction as the members pass rails 15 (for picking up a sheet from roller conveyer 11) and are vented on passing rails 16 or 16a depending upon which rail has been connected to a current source.
