Abstract

1426655 Metallic springs CENTRONICS DATA COMPUTER CORP 10 Jan 1974 [10 Jan 1973] 1238/74 Heading F2S [Also in Division H1] In a solenoid assembly of the kind described in Specification 1,365,396 a laminar spring armature restoring member is fabricated (Fig. 4) as a spring steel disc formed into a continuous outer ring R and inner ring R<SP>1</SP> between which are a pair of interleaved connecting spiral portions 32, 33 separated by slots, which have cut-outs 19k, 19l to relieve the torsional stresses at 20a, 20b and slots 20c, 20d adjacent the inner extremities of the spirals to relieve torsional stresses at 20e, 20f. The extremities of the spirals are radially conjoined to the outer and inner rings by portions 20a, 20b and 20e, 20f, transversely aligned to the spiral springs.
