1426500 Glycyrohetinic derivatives BIOREX LABORATORIES Ltd 29 Oct 1974 [4 Oct 1973] 46373/73 Heading C2U The invention comprises compounds of formula (wherein R is H or alkyl) and the non-toxic salts of compounds in which R is H; and their preparation from the corresponding #<SP>2</SP>-2-unsubstituted-3-acyloxy compounds by reaction with CF 3 OF to give unstable 2α-fluoro-3#-acyloxy- 3#-trifluoromethoxy intermediates, decomposition of which with an acid or base yields I which may then be salified. Pharmaceutical compositions comprise I and a carrier pharmacological activity and routes of administration are not specified.
