Abstract
1426438 Superalloy coating compositions ROLLS-ROYCE (1971) Ltd 2 Nov 1973 [8 Nov 1972] 51405/72 Heading C7A An alloy which is particularly suited for use as a coating on nickel- or cobaltbase superalloys, consists of, by weight:- together with impurities. Coatings of these alloys have improved sulphidation and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures especially for marine gas turbine applications. The coatings may be applied by flame or plasma spraying vacuum deposition or by applying a powdered composition and melting in situ.
