1425069 Securing cushions PARNALL & SONS Ltd 11 April 1974 [1 May 1973] 20707/73 Heading A4M A seat cushion 15 and/or backrest cusion 21 with a flexible backing panel 16 is secured to a rigid base 11 or 22 by means of coacting hook or headed stud 19 and eye or keyhole slot 18 on the panel 16 and base 11, 22, the base 11, 22 including at least one upstanding edge abutment, which may be a peripheral rim 13, whereby the coacting formations 19, 18 are first engaged by laying the backing panel 16 over the abutment and flexing the panel 16 and then moving the cushion 15, 21 laterally to effect full interengagement in which position an edge of the cushion is engaged by the abutment to resist its lateral displacement in the opposite direction.
