Abstract

1425001 Yarn guide MITSUBISHI JUKOGYO KK 10 Jan 1974 [12 Jan 1973] 01192/ 74 Heading DID A guide rotates about two driven, side-byside rollers, which are widest apart at their unsupported ends, to wrap yarn about the rollers, the guide being located in a plane passing through the rollers and being adapted to permit free running of the wrapped yarn out of contact with the guide. The rollers 8, 9 are wound with yarn by guide 5 rotated about the rollers with the rotation of arm 10. Shaft 7 rotates in arm 10 and is counterbalanced by weight 13 to maintain the orientation of the guide. The guide is pivoted at 6 on shaft 7 so that it may be pivoted to position 5' to allow free yarn running. Alternatively, the top segment of guide 5 may be removed to allow the yarn to run in path a.
