Abstract

1423800 Sliding window operating mechanism BROSE-VERWALTUNGS GmbH 5 April 1974 [26 April 1973] 15184/74 Heading E2M In a window operating mechanism, particularly for sliding vehicle windows, of the type in which a lifting arm 3 is pivoted about point 2 by a drive mechanism slides in a window attachment plate 5 and is pivotally connected to two interconnected control levers 6, 7 which extends between a further window attachment plate 8 and a guide slot 9, at least one of the levers 6, 7 has a pivot projection which extends through a bearing bore 12 in the arm 3 and is secured to the other lever on the far side of the bore to prevent withdrawal. The levers 6, 7 shown each have a stamped out projection 11 a little over half the bore depth and are secured together by either rivet 13 or by spot welding. Relative pivotal movement between the arms is prevented by bores 16 on each projection being engaged by stamped out portions 15' on each other projection. The arm 3 is driven by the engagement of a toothed segment 4 with a manually operated pinion. Lubricant pockets can be formed by stamping in the region of the pivotal connection between projections and bore.
