Abstract

1423377 Shovelling machines CLARK EQUIPMENT CO 17 July 1973 [17 July 1972] 33962/73 Heading E1F A lift arms-supported mounting for a material-handling bucket 11 has support means 29 extending beneath the bucket to be pivotally connected to the bucket at 27 adjacent the front edge thereof and a piston cylinder motoractuated bucket tilting and roll back linkage extending between the support means and the upper part of the rear of the bucket. The linkage comprises a pair or spaced apart pairs of links 37 defining a first link pivotally associated with the support means, a second link 42 pivoted at one end to the first link and at the other end to the bucket, these first and second links being movable relative to one another by a piston cylinder motor 45 so connected between the links as to define therewith a triangle having two sides formed by the first link and the motor 45 and a third side defined by a portion of the second link. The said portion of the link 42 is not greater than half the length of the link. Preferably the first and second links are equal in length.
