142,311. Robertson, G. Nov. 14, 1919. Roller bearings.-In a roller bearing for wheels, shafts, &c., cylindrical rollers 3 are spaced at the ends by short barrel-shaped rollers 5 running in grooves 4 in the rollers 3 and in flanges 6 on plates 7 fixed to the outer member 2. Each plate 7 may be in two parts to allow the rollers to be inserted. Collars 8 on the axle 1 are formed with a number of tapered recesses to receive thrust rollers 9, which are retained by bands 10.
