Abstract

1422717 Hand barrows A HEATH 14 Feb 1974 [16 Feb 1973] 7827/73 Heading B7B A barrow includes a frame 12, having a handle 12a and a ground engaging portion 12b, supported by a pair of wheels 14 and a removable open-topped container 16, the container being pivotally mounted on the frame. Channels (16a) (Fig. 3, not shown) are formed in the base of the container and one channel engages a forward cross-member 18 when mounted on the barrow, the rear of the container rests on a flat portion of the wheel axle (15) (Fig. 2, not shown) and is supported by an upper crossmember 20 The handle 12a may be foldably collapsed or removable from the frame and the ground engaging member 12b may be weighted so that the frame remains upright when the container is removed.
