Abstract

1422450 Spectacle frames GIUSEPPE RATT1 INDUSTRIA OTTICA SpA 13 April 1973 [18 April 1972] 17862/73 Heading G2J A spectacle frame comprises a main frame 1 and two arms 2, 3 each of which is reinforced by a metal element 4 and is connected to the frame by a hinge. Each hinge comprises a plate 5 housed in a recess in the arm and having two fins 7 having respective coaxial aligned holes which are also aligned with corresponding holes in three fins 8 carried by a plate 9 which is attached to the side portion 1a of the frame. A threaded pin 10 extends through all the holes. The plate 9 forms part of an anchoring element comprising a hollow tubular element 11 with a triangular cross section. The end 12 of element 11 is rounded. Other hinges are described with reference to Figs. 6, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17 and 18 (not shown)
