1419964 Corrosion-inhibiting composition E P BENEDEK 31 Aug 1973 [3 Oct 1972] 45444/72 Heading C7E The composition comprises a minor portion of corrosion-inhibiting ingredients admixed with a major portion of an insoluble carrier or binder and is compressed into a porous solid pellet, tablet or block which disintegrates only slowly in water. The carrier may be naphtha crystals or plaster of Paris. A cylindrical block may contain an embedded soluble gelatine capsule containing a dyestuff for indicating exhaustion of the composition. Exemplified compositions contain Na benzoate, NaNO 2 , Na dodeca-molybdophosphate, benzotriazole, sterilant, pH indicator and the carrier.
