1419786 Measuring liquid level electrically KDG INSTRUMENTS Ltd 7 March 1974 [7 Dec 1972] 56449/72 Heading G1N An apparatus for producing an indication of liquid depth or volume includes a pressure transducer 16 having a capsule 13 and a differential transformer 21, 22, 23 with a movable core 17 coupled to the capsule and providing an electric signal to meter terminals through an output transistor VT5 of which the emitter connects through a potentiometer VR3 to an operational amplifier IC3, the potentiometer being calibrated directly in terms of specific gravity, whereby the circuit gain is varied so that the indication is adjusted for liquids of different specific gravity.
