Abstract
1419755 Toy construction sets R.T KOHLER 25. Jan 1974 [26 Jan 1973] 03584/74 Heading A6S [Also in Divisions G2 and G3] A construction set for the erection of a wooden article, e.g. a toy, comprises at least one wooden board having grooves milled in its surface to define parts of the article to be erected, the depth of the grooves being such that the parts may be easily cut out of the board and subsequently connected by glue and/or nails. As shown, a board has deep grooves 10, Fig. 3, defining parts 6 ..... 9 to be assembled as the cab 2, Figs. 1, 2, of a toy lorry. Shallow grooves 11 receive the edges of conjoined panels. In the toy lorry shown, slots 12 in the cab rear panel 8 slide over side chassis members 5 and the cab front panel 7 rests-on top of a chassis panel 4. The panels, &c. are secured by glue and/or nails. Nail holes may be formed in the grooves, &c. before assembly. The board may be. of solid or laminated wood.
