1419708 Accommodation of thermal expansion in framing members J H J PITT 16 Jan 1974 [19 July 1973] 34390/73 Heading E1W A framing member for a suspended ceiling comprises a web 11 and a perpendicularly projecting elongate flange 14 along at least one edge thereof wherein the web has two apertures 20, 21 or two formations of smaller apertures which are located in approximate vertical alignment in the web. The upper aperture or formation has three longitudinally spaced upwardly extending notches in its upper edge while the lower aperture has three longitudinally spaced notches in its lower edge.
