Abstract

Rope railways-In transporter bridges, the load-carrying platform is suspended from a suspension chain by a pair of chains w engaged by sprocket-wheels v mounted in the lower part of the trolly. Each wheel v is mounted on a shaft which is driven by gears n, m on shafts h, each shaft carrying a sprocket-wheel k gearing with the suspension chain.
