1416138 Toilet roll dispenser A R SEEL 6 Oct 1972 [9 Oct 1971 9 Nov 1971 18 Dec 1971] 47094/71 51930/71 and 58936/71 Heading B8M Part B A toilet roll dispenser comprises a rigid casing 1, Fig. 1, having an openable front 3 lockable at 17 with a roll mounted on spindle 7 over spring sleeves 14, the paper passing over guide 16 to slot 5, the spindle being rotated once slowly manually via shaft 9 multiple rotations of which rotate step down worm and pinion 12, 13. Opposite rotation is prevented by the worm axially shifting the spindle against spring 15 and locking with the pinion.
