Abstract

1414279 Loudspeaker circuits; stero systems; radio and tape recorder arrangements FORD MOTOR CO Ltd 23 May 1974 23005/74 Headings H4J H4R and H3Q A motor vehicle has two separate audio systems, for example a radio and a tape or record player, which feed a common loudspeaker system through a relay. When one of the audio systems is in operation the relay is energized and connects the output of the first audio system to the loudspeaker system. When the relay is not energized it connects the output of the second audio system to the loudspeaker system. Preferably the relay when energized disconnects the second audio system from the vehicle electrical supply. One or both audio systems may be a stereo system and the loudspeaker system may comprise two sterophonically related speakers.
