1413124 Longitudinal folder MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG - NURNBERG AG 20 Dec 1972 [21 Dec 1971] 58938/72 Heading B8R The former plate 1 of a longitudinal folder has an aperture 2 through which a spray means is arranged to spray a mist of silicone lubricant material on to the printed undersurface of the web being folded to prevent set-off. The spray means comprises a box 4 mounted on the underside of the plate 1 (preferably in an airtight manner 1 and provided with spray nozzles 4. Spraying may be assisted by air supplied through line 5. The box may be provided with a drain pipe 7 for excess lubricant material.
