Abstract

728,022. Feeding sheets. BUDD CO. April 29, 1953 [May 10, 1952], No. 11824/53. Class 100(1). Heavy sheets 10 can be fed manually into a forming &c. press by one man by the use of a support 6, 7 incorporating rollers 8 and positioned near one end of the press. The operator lifts and pushes the top sheet 10 of a stack of sheets so that the end A of the sheet drops on the rollers 8. He then lifts the end B into the press while moving the end A along over the rollers so that this end also drops into the press.
