Abstract

1412028 Adaptor PHILIPS ELECTRONIC &ASSOCIATED INDUSTRIES Ltd 13 Dec 1973 [16 Dec 1972] 57778/73 Heading H2E An adaptor 1 for making connection to conductors 10, 11 in a skirting board 3, has resilient arms 4, 5 held in place by displaceable member 15. The member 15 is secured by arms 22 on a rotatable disc 16 having apertures 18 which allow access to socket holes (19, Fig. 3, not shown) in member 13 only when the arms 4, 5 are locked in place. Rotation of the disc 16 removes the arms 22 from the member 15 and permits the member to be raised (Figs. 2 and 3, not shown). The adaptor cannot be connected to the skirting board unless the arms 4, 5 are unlocked. Cable duct 31 is closed by cover 32.
