Abstract

1409920 Tractor hitches LEEFORD (LONDON) Ltd 14 March 1973 [23 March 1972] 13587/72 Heading A1P [Also in Division El] In a sweeping attachment for the three-point lift linkage of a tractor (not shown), a brush cylinder 10, driven by undisclosed means, rotates in a housing 12 centrally mounted at 15 below a T-frame 16-18 pivoted on a transverse bar 24 forming a torsion rod connection between parallel arms 25, 26 pivoted to the lower lift linkage points, the upper point being pivoted to an element 19 upstanding from the frame. Relative movement between the arms 25, 26 and the frame member 18 is controlled by shock absorbing springs 51, 52 on rods depending from the arms and by lower and upper stop plates 29, 30, 31, 32 rigid with the member 18. The suspension allows the brush to rise, fall and tilt when negotiating uneven ground.
