Abstract

1409560 Steam generators SIEMENS AG 17 Nov 1972 [17 Nov 1971] 53378/72 Heading F4A In a steam generator in which water is directed by a partition 9 to flow from a space 10 upwardly over U-tubes 2 through which a primary heating medium from a nuclear reactor circulates, feed water is passed through injector nozzles 14 to create a forced flow of water from the space 10. Feed water is also introduced through distribution pipe 11 in the example shown but may be delivered exclusively through injector nozzles. A water separator 6 is provided and there may be an arrangement such as disclosed in Specification 1408952 in which feed water is discharged into the water leaving the separator.
