1,064,504. Forced flow steam generators. SIEMENS -SCHUCKERTWERKE A.G. July 22, 1965 [Aug. 11, 1964], No. 31357/65. Heading F4A. A forced flow oncethrough steam generator heated by helium or carbon dioxide coolant from a nuclear reactor comprises a heat exchange vessel 1 containing tubes 3 arranged in groups 4 passing through preheating, evaporating, and superheating zones. Inlet and outlet headers 41, 42 of the groups are connected by pipes 44, 45, respectively, to feed water conduit 5 and live steam conduit 7, adjustable or replaceable throttling restrictions 51 being provided in the pipes 44. Interposed mixing headers 43 are provided between the evaporating and superheating zones.
