1407597 Packages S S BOSLEY [trading as SAFEGUARD FUSE CO] 4 Feb 1974 [3 Nov 1972] 50901/72 Heading B8C A package comprises a sheet S 1 of support material having an aperture 3, a sheet S 2 of backing material affixed to the support sheet, and a stretchable plastics membrane over the aperture and retained by friction between the sheets, with one or more articles retained between the backing sheet and membrane. The two sheets may be secured by a latex adhesive and be comprised by a folded card. The backing sheet may also have an aperture 2 covered by a membrane. The two membranes may be formed by an envelope containing electrical fuses. Adjacent one aperture is a scored pull tab portion 8, shoulders 10 being left after the tab is pulled to retain articles left in the envelope.
